What you can do to help over winter:
- Run your pump a few hours each day (6-8 hours per day) to keep water circulating
- Ensure your pool cover is clean and free from debris
- Clean out leave and debris from the skimmer and pump basket regularly
- Remove leaves from the surrounding area
- Brush and vacuum your pool to help remove all debris
- Regularly check your water balance
- Continue to backwash your filter
